Leaked Xbox 720 Document is Commented by Microsoft


After a leaked PowerPoint presentation The Internet made a collective rumble detailing Microsoft’s next home console dropped a lot more than few hints. Claimed the osystem will have upto 8 CPU cores, a blu-ray drive, and 1080p 3D support The document, which explicitly called Microsoft’s next  ‘Xbox 720’,  that will have its own hardware processing for better accuracy, larger bandwidth and 4-player tracking. A new Kinect hardware was also mentioned, which according to the document is called Project Fortaleza (or Kinect Glasses). Interestingly, Microsoft is also working on its Google Glass, with a 10 year life-cycle plan in motion. The best part, though: Xbox 720 will be priced at $299,
At a price point remarkably. Set on the sweet spot. The last bit has lead many to call it “ fake!” with some of the specifications being too good to be true,
The software giant themselves ained mum  and quiet about the whole affair. While the document was pulled immediately by a law firm that Microsoft employees, Well, till now.
“we do not comment on tumors and speculation ” drivel that companies like to use so very often. Microsoft has  responded to Eurogamer’s queries with a statement that says absolutely. Nothing of  the subject, but at least is not the same Here’s what they had to say:
What comes mext for Xbox and we are lucky  to have customers who are so passionate about the platform. “We understand there is great interest and anticipation.
We have found new ways to extend the console lifecycle by introducing controller – free experiences with Kinect and we’ve re-invented the console with a new dashboard  and new entertaknment content partnerships. “Today, there has never been a better time to own an Xbox 360 console.
"We are continually thinking about the future of the platform and when we have something to share, we will."
